Hello, I’m a student of UPV and I’m with a group doing a parametric study with wam. We have a doubt, when we can assume that the solve is converged? We have launched three cases with 30, 40 and 45 cycles, and in all of them the work of compressor and turbine are not the same. Thanks for your time.

If you have a turbocharged engine, it is very difficult to get the same turbine and compressor work. There are many parameters that can affect the convergence. You have to check the different average results and to choose the cycle when variation of the different parameter versus the cycles you consider that it is very low.

I understood that to get convergence for the values, I have to see all the cycles until the values will not and then this is the right value.
But when I tried to study “Trbine Inlet Pressure” Duct 21 in the example model, I tried to run a model for 100 cycles, I did not reach t the convergence
How and which values will give me the converged vaule?
