MemberOnes you have generated the ASCII .wam data file the model can be run by means of the following command line:
For Windows:
wam.exe model.wam
For Linux:
wine pathtowamwam.exe pathtomodelmodel.wam
Where wam.exe is the name of the compiled code and model.wam is the data file.

ParticipantThank you very much for this tutorial
i have already run the example model 4 stroke _4 cylinder and i got data of 19 cycles and data of mean results
1- How i can increase the number of cycles.
2- i have noticed that at duct 21 the pressure evolution is maximum about 2.2 bar, but at each cycle it reduces, i dont know why?Other thing, if i want to add 2 cylinders i dont know how to connect 2 elements together by the blue lines, where can i find it?
– i have only the information of engine stroke ,bore…., but i dont have enough information about the valves size , pipe length and thickness, what must i do for obtaining 6 cylinder 4 stroke diesel engine with twin- entry turbine turbocharger?thank you again

You’re welcome

I suggest you to ask your first question in WAMER (the interface) section (maybe with the title: How to increase the number of cycles) and the second in a new post in Running & Solving section.Other thing, if i want to add 2 cylinders i dont know how to connect 2 elements together by the blue lines, where can i find it?

Just to keep the forum tidy and useful for other people. Thanks.

ParticipantI have mostly gotten this to run by modifing and existing file (the 4stroke HDSI model) and converting it to gasoline SI.
The only issue is now that I get the problem Paolo had (above) one year ago. I cant open the average data file even though it is there in excel.
